Join us for a night of music, spoken word and visual arts as students from Piedmont collaborate with Bay Area favorite Mingus Amungus for a night of creative exploration and celebration.  Collectively the performers and artists will be sharing their creative exploration centered around the essence of the human condition, in appreciation of the melange of perspectives that weave the fabric of humanity.

Also featured will be Piedmont’s own Together We Slam, a talented and thought provoking group of slam poets from PHS, MHS and PMS. TWS performed at our recent MLK Day celebration, and we're thrilled to be collaborating with them once again.

The event is produced and sponsored by the Piedmont Appreciating Diversity Committee (PADC) and proceeds will benefit PADC’s Grants program. The PADC grants program typically awards between $8,000 and $10,000 a year to fund educational projects that support and promote diversity and inclusiveness in our schools and community.
